Around the US, many so called Mongolian BBQ have closed down during the Pandemic. I am glad this location survived. South of DMV (DC MD VA), this is the last few surviving decent AYCE Mongolian BBQ spots left. Thanks for continued being in business. For my actual review, please read my entry from 03 April 2019.
This place has been in Jacksonville for over 30 years. This place is not for someone who comes to a restaurant wanting beautiful and perfect surroundings. Yes, it's a little run down, but the food is phenomenal. It's a wide variety and selection of veggies and meat that you can put Into your meal surpass any other restaurant. Staff is more than accommodating and very friendly. When we were there, there was a lady that has actually been working there for 30 years. I would rather go to mom and Pop shop. That's a little rundown with amazing food, to patronize over restaurant that has frozen food prepackaged that they put out for their customers
Excellent variety of vegetables, meats (including seafood), and sauces. I love that it's all you can eat for only $15! They have noodles as the base, and then also bring white rice or fried rice to the table. Their sodas are served in cans, so no complimentary refills. Service was great and the food was cooked very quickly right in front of you! Definitely recommend.
The food was good, wait staff was quite friendly and a nice inviting atmosphere. We would definitely return many times..
I've ate here previously years ago and in town decided to come. It hasn't changed on the inside at all. Oldie, but goodie! You come in get seated and to the bar you grab veggies, noodles, meats and then chose your sauces. Once it's done it's pippin hot and delicious. It's served with a side of rice if you'd like. I'm not sure, but I think the same lady is still there from back in the day. Nevertheless, she's just a friendly as she was back then. She makes sure you are happy, full and have enough to drink. It's a buffet style and seriously cheap.
